The Urbanedge Journey takes the guesswork out of building your new home, because we are with you every step of the way. We also know it’s a very personal journey, which you want to navigate with ease and peace-of-mind to ensure your new home suits your lifestyle and perfectly reflects who you are.

Getting to Know You

1. Information session

Your Sales Consultant will provide you with information about Urbanedge Homes and will take the time to understand your needs and what you are looking for in your new home. Consider size, single or double storey, how much you want to spend and what features you want. At this stage, your Sales Consultant will also introduce you to our finance partners Inovayt, who can assist you with finding the most competitive loan to match your individual requirements.

2. Walk through

Your Sales Consultant will take you on a guided walk through of one of our display homes to get a deeper understanding of your needs and create a wish list for your new home. They will guide you through the various display upgrades, inclusions, plan options, cabinetry and staircase options as well as our extensive façade range.

3. Finance

Our finance partner Inovayt, will call you to provide a non-obligation finance qualification in order to understand or confirm your borrowing capacity.
Please note, an Inovayt finance qualification is required in order to continue with your journey.

Review and Pricing

4. Home Proposal

a) You will be presented with a sales estimate, containing options you have selected for your home. We will provide a siting of your new home on your block and finalise any further options.

b) At this stage, you will need to pay your initial deposit. This deposit will secure a site start month as well as pricing, provided your final sales sign off (step 5) occurs within 30 days from receipt of the initial deposit.
Once paid, we will be able to prepare an itemised, fixed price quote.

5. Sales Completion Appointment

This appointment is to complete your sales paperwork and accept your sales quote. Your Sales Consultant will walk you through the documents and answer any questions you may have. Once completed you will also need to pay a secondary deposit, to confirms that you wish to proceed to the next step. Upon payment, your sales paperwork will be submitted to head office for processing

6. Introductory Call

A member of our team from head office will call you to introduce themselves as your dedicated Pre-Site Client Manager. They will be your point of contact throughout your pre-site journey and will be able to answer any questions you have. Your Pre-Site Client Manager will follow up your call with an email containing your Info Pack for you to read in preparation for your Contract Appointment.

7. Colours & Electrical

The first step to selecting colours for your new home will be a guided browse appointment which is conducted on a Saturday. This gives you the chance to view our entire showroom to see what is available to you, seek advice from our professional Colour Consultants, start making some selections and build a wish list.
You will then complete two further appointments.

8. Contract

At your Contract Appointment you will be presented with your fixed price tender document and a full set of your house plans including siting on your block. The balance of 5% deposit is payable at this appointment. Before your Contract Appointment, please ensure you have read the documents provided in your Info Pack provide the required documents following your Contract Appointment, which will be specified by your Pre-Site Client Manager.

Construction

9. Ready to start building

If your land is titled, at this stage we will begin applying for the appropriate documents to obtain a building permit. This includes ordering engineering, developer approvals, energy rating assessments and any additional approvals required through council.
You’ll receive an introductory email from your On-Site Client Manager, who will provide you with regular correspondence throughout the construction of your new home.

Congratulations! Your file is complete, and we can start building your new home.
